Old Town Guitars

Old Town Guitars is a musical instrument store located in Georgetown, Texas, offering fretted instrument repair and custom cables. The store provides various services, including setup for acoustic and electric guitars, fretwork, and structural repair.

The store's services include fret level and dress, sharp fret edge cleanup, refret, and bone nuts and saddles. They also offer structural repair services, such as headstock reglue, acoustic bridge pull and reglue, and crack glue up with internal cleat.

In addition to repair services, Old Town Guitars sells products, including pickups from brands like Gemini Pickups, JJB Electronics, LR Baggs, and Mojotone. They also offer strings and parts and accessories from brands like Stringjoy, Allparts, and Mojotone.

The owner of Old Town Guitars grew up in a family that enjoyed playing music and fixing cars, and they took the hot-rodding mentality to their guitars. The store was founded to help musicians get the most out of their guitars, and it has since partnered with Kenz Guitars and moved into the back of the shop, now known as Six Strings Guitar & Lounge.

Old Town Guitars is located inside Six Strings Guitar & Lounge on the historic Georgetown Square. The store's hours vary, but instruments can be dropped off and completed instruments can be picked up any time Six Strings is open.
